V&A Neutralization

As the worldwide commercial center expands another branch of English learning discovered with ESL has turned out to be extremely enchanting. This is often called Voice and Accent Neutralization. The fundamental focus of voice and accent neutralization is to help foreign language speakers (whose first language is not English) to speak with a neutral accent which is accepted throughout the world. Outsourcing is the force behind this trend towards voice and accent neutralization.

As we live in an interconnected world, the global trend today is towards outsourcing. India is one of the most popular countries for outsourcing mainly because of availability of huge number of English speakers. However, many Indians speak with a regional accent influenced by their mother tongue. This is usually referred to as MTI (Mother Tongue Influx). As a part of this course we focus on phonetics to teach the learners to speak in a neutral accent. These sessions will help the participants greatly reduce their mother tongue influence.
